I know the appar­ent meme of put­ting one film trailer’s soundtrack against video foot­age from another with hi-hi-hilAri­ous res­ults is as old as most hills you can think of, but some­times, one chooses a couple of top­ics that just work nicely together. Think of it like a really good cover ver­sion of a song that you haven’t heard for a while — some­times, both the coverer and the coveree benefit.

Actually, This makes me want to watch LotR (the upper­case is everso import­ant) but avoid The Transformers: The Movie like the pro­ver­bial, on account of it not being as good as the trailer promises.
