Maybe it’s recent devel­op­ments in my life; maybe it’s the fact that it’s no longer dark at 6 o’clock in the even­ing and my even­ing jour­ney home is rap­idly becom­ing a ver­it­able joy. Maybe even it’s the fact that the wooden par­ti­tions around the out­side smoking area of my local pub came down today — that is a far bet­ter her­ald of sum­mer than any amount of freshly mown lawns, swoop­ing swal­lows in the skies or short-skirted ladies on our streets.

Although that last one is rather good.

Whatever it is, I’m rap­idly shed­ding an unhealthy buildup of cyn­icsm that I grew over the winter months, and is some­thing I really want to continue.

So. I’m going to start a reg­u­lar thread of online videos that simply give me joy and set me up for the day.
