British Rouge Society

Rebranded, redesigned, refreshed and revitalÂised — the British Rouge Society wanted a new, elegÂant look for their planned new webÂsite that would easÂily seperÂate them from the rest of the flock.
I worked closely with the sociÂety to provide a web presÂence for them that was sophÂistÂicÂated, mature and would cater dirÂectly to the the society’s audiÂence without the need to ram it down their throats.
Basically, they wanted the best web site in their field. Baa none.
As ever, the site is a highly accessÂible build, based on HTML and CSS to allow for the widest posÂsible audiÂence to view the site’s conÂtent.
Accessible, javasÂcript enhanced navÂigÂaÂtion allowed easy traÂversÂing of the site, and a few user interÂface flourÂishes.
The sociÂety makes use of Picasa web albums to store images online — thereÂfore the comÂpreÂhensÂive Google API was used to allow this rich vein of conÂtent to be harÂvesÂted.
The use of WordPress as the back end sysÂtem allowed the site to be easÂily updated by mulÂtiple users, none of whom required any subÂsequent HTML trainÂing, and allowÂing for future upscalÂing of the site’s funcÂtion if required.
